What is Group Chat Live?
Group Chat Live is a curated, invite-only monthly community for accomplished and emerging leaders who want real conversation, laughter, connection, and a place to be fully themselves. It is not therapy, networking, or a webinar. Think of your favorite group chat, the one where you can say the thing, laugh at the thing, admit the thing, then imagine it live.
Who is Group Chat Live for?
It is for people who have built something, are building something, or are deciding what is next. Members may be founders, executives, creatives, entrepreneurs, community leaders, professionals, culture-shapers, or emerging leaders. We are not looking for the most followed person in the room. We are looking for thoughtful, interesting people who will add something meaningful to it.
How do I become part of Group Chat Live?
There are two paths. First, you may be invited by a current Host or member who believes you would be a strong addition to the community. Second, you may request an invitation by completing a short form that helps us understand who you are, what you are building, what matters to you, and the kinds of conversations you are looking for.
Can I experience Group Chat Live before joining?
Yes. Every approved prospective member may attend one complimentary Group Chat Live session as a guest. You should experience the conversation, the people, and the energy before deciding whether you want a recurring seat.
How much does membership cost?
Membership is $150 per month. The experience is intentionally simple: one membership, recurring access to your Group Chat Live community, and no complicated tiers.
How often does Group Chat Live meet?
Group Chat Live takes place once a month on one consistent recurring day. The full community gathers together first, then members move into their curated Circles through breakout rooms. Each Circle is hosted and capped at 30 people per breakout room.
What happens during a session?
Some conversations are meaningful, some are hilarious, some are spicy, and some go somewhere no one expected. Topics can include friendship, relationships, leadership, family, reinvention, money, motherhood, joy, culture, legacy, and the conversations people usually reserve for their closest friends. Lisane and the Hosts help bring the conversation to life, but the magic comes from the people in the room.
Who decides what we talk about?
Members regularly share ideas, vote on possible topics, and can submit write-ins. Hosts have topic-picking privileges and work with the Lisane Basquiat team to shape conversations based on member interest, what is happening in the world, and what the group actually needs.
What does a Host do?
A Host helps create the kind of environment people want to return to. Hosts welcome members and guests, help open or guide conversation, select topics, invite potential members, protect the culture of the community, and share feedback with the Lisane Basquiat team. A Circle may have one Host or multiple Hosts.
Can members invite guests?
Yes. Hosts and approved members may recommend people they believe would add something meaningful to Group Chat Live. The invitation should feel personal, not like a public referral link. Approved guests may attend one complimentary session before being considered for membership.
Is Group Chat Live confidential?
Trust is essential. Nothing is recorded, and the expectation is simple: Stories stay. Lessons travel. Members may carry what they learned with them, but they should not carry someone else’s personal story out of the room without permission.
What if my Circle is not the right fit?
Curation does not end when someone joins. If another Circle, Host, time zone, or conversation dynamic would be a stronger fit, the team may recommend a different placement when space is available.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Membership is month-to-month and may be cancelled according to the membership terms provided at enrollment. We want people to stay because the experience is valuable, not because leaving is difficult.
